The Oregon Business Intelligence Community (ORBIC) was formed to provide Business and IT professionals Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence news, technology updates, and best practices guidance.
ORBIC meetings are great opportunities for networking with other professionals in the local community and learn how BI is improving their business operations.
ORBIC events are held every three months at various locations around the Willamette Valley, Portland, and Southwest Washington.
Past topics have included Project 'Gemini' (now PowerPivot), Delivering Dashboards, Reporting Services 2008 Implementation Strategy and Features, and SQL 2008 R2 Features overview. Future events will include topics such as Analysis Services in depth, and SharePoint 2010 BI Implementation Strategy & Features.
